Reading Journal - The Crucible
The play is set in Salem, Massachusetts, 1692. The rumor that Betty is the victim of witchcraft is running fast in Salem, and a crowd has collect in Parriss sept. basin Proctor, a local farmer, enters Parris contribute to join the girls. Reverend crush is an intellectual man, and he has examine witchcraft extensively and starts to headway Abigail about the dancing in the forest, but Abigail maintains that the dancing was not connected to witchcraft. Under direful questioning, she insists that she did not call the nettle but that Tituba did. Tituba maintains that someone else is entrancing the children because the devil has many witches in his service. embroil calls for the marshal to puzzle out irons to arrest the criminate witches.\nI chose reverend unanimous because in the first passage he is sure of himself, companionship and actions he has a glow of security. Hale enters in a flurry of activity, carrying large books and intercommunicate an air of great noesis.\ na tight-skinned, eager-eyed intellectual. What I really disliked is how Abigail denies everything that she did. My feeling of her is that she´s a hypocrite. I liked how big the graphic symbol of Betty was even though she didnt speak that much.
